No problems for us! Great investment......
June 30, 2011
"We were reluctant to purchase this due to the reviews we read up on it. We found no problems related to what others complained about. The only problem we faced was there were no wheels nor handles as stated in the owner's manual. We had no problems putting it together, and getting it ready to operate. It started easily and ran as stated it would. Made a great purchase with this.
We live in a hurricane prone area, when we lose electricity it is for days. The initial cost is kinda high, but the overall cost and convenience out weighs that. A new propane tank is only $42.00 and you can trade it in for a new one for $15.00. You do not need electricity in order to trade it in. So you will be able to keep your generator running through the duration of the power outage.....gas generators, you have to go refill your gas cans, and without power, many gas stations can not accommodate you well.
Each tank runs about 20 hours. Get you about 5 of them stored up, you will be good to go for about 4 1/2 days. trade them in all at once, and you save time and money. During Hurricane Rita we were without electricity for 10 days. People running gas generators still lost everything in their freezers, and were out all that money for the gas, driving around trying to find an opened gas station, and all the trouble they went through. Had they of had a propane generator, they probably would not have lost everything, wasted money, and wasted time.
As I prepare for this years hurricane season, I am confident the purchase I made was one of the wises ones possible. My family will be sitting in comfort!!"
