Best all-rounder
February 27, 2011
"Been with Net10 for a couple of years now, and in that time, they've grown from strength to strength.
The things I like most about Net10 are their flexibility- to switch between low and high usage plans from one month to the next depending on your circumstances. I have to say the unlimited plan is my best though, with no counting minutes.
Great coverage off Verizon or AT&T. Just check before buying your phone which network you're on-I nearly made that mistake.
And then of course, it's affordable and there's no contract or bill.
As far as their phones go, some feature filled phones available, though it would be appreciated if they updated the phone choice with a couple of smart phones. I've also had a few problems with customer service, but as many good experiences as bad, so at this price, I'm not complaining.

A couple of questions.
Posted March 21, 2011
I'm looking at Net10 as an option with my contract coming to an end. I've read so many great things about them, and the flexibility to change your plan from month to month really appeals to me as my calling does tend to be seasonal (mainly for work purposes). Firstly, the LG900 seems like a nice phone and I see it can send mmses...Are mmses included in the unlimited plan ? Secondly, I've seen the unlimited plan advertised at $50, but this page says $64.99 -what's up with that?
Lastly, I have both AT&T and Verizon coverage in my area-would this mean I can choose the phone I want and it will slot in with the appropriate network?
Thanks for the review, hope you can fill in the gaps for me please.

Good choice for the frequent user
October 30, 2010
"So I was so impressed with how happy my 12 year old was with her phone, I reviewed it. She just pointed out to me that I had by far the nicer phone and I should actually have reviewed mine...I guess she's right, though all the hinting in the world was not going to convince me to get her one like mine!
I have the Samsung T401, which is a qwerty slider phone and makes texting and e-mailing a breeze. I was a bit wary about how strong the slider mechanism would be, but it feels pretty sturdy to me. We both love the mp3 player though make a note to look out for the cable when buying the phone as it isn't included. Phone has a camera which takes great stills, has hands free (great when you're trying to make supper!) and then all the usual bluetooth, picture messaging, etc.
While I have her on a $15 monthly plan, I have somewhat more of a need to talk and text, and am thrilled with the new $25, 750 min plan. I've only been on it for a couple of weeks, but at 3c/minute, feel I have so many more minutes available. I must make mention of the fact that these minutes don't roll over to the next month, which is probably why it is such a cheap option.
All round, Net10 is great for the whole family, as there's both a phone and a plan available to suit most needs.

Net10 -Great choice
October 28, 2010
"My line of work requires that I travel to other states on a monthly basis. I've also got 3 kids. I need to be able to contact my family as well as my head office when I'm on the road, and with Net10's coverage, I've rarely had a problem (except in the odd remote place where everyone battles). I also don't pay for roaming, which means there are never any worries about my minutes being chewed up in charges. This phone has great signal and is really easy to operate. The mp3 player, which I use a lot, has really good sound quality. Can send mmses, check mail and I quite like that it has a microSD card, which is so handy for transferring files while away from the office. All round, definitely a phone I would recommend.
The Net10's unlimited option, to me, is the best value for money, and at $50, suits the budget well. I do also have the option of switching to one of their lower rate plans when I'm home for vacations and use my phone less, all at no extra cost.

Great Deal
May 24, 2010
"Net10 is a wonderful service. I have a prepaid Samsung phone on it and get amazing coverage. Its just too good of a deal to pass up - the savings are incredible compared to having a monthly cell contract that rips you off more and more each month. The phones are high quality and low priced. Could it get any better!"

I too have Net10 and I love it. I use it only as I need it and I don't have expensive bills every month. I have recommended this service to a lot of my friends.
