Great work shoe

"If you stand all day, you need this shoe! I run around a hospital for 12 hour shifts with no discomfort. So they are ugly, so what! The patients don't care and neither do I. I purchased the white version per hospital uniform but they are super easy to clean. I appreciate the no slip and oil resistant features of this shoe. If you don't care what they look like and just want a comfortable shoe, click on the purchase button."

"I bought these shoes because I am a bartender and often have to stand for long 8-12 shifts which usually leave my legs sore and feet throbbing. Aside from how ugly I think these shoes are, they ARE very practical behind the bar. I love, love, LOVE, the fact that the shoes are skid proof. I can walk across the wettest floor and skid/slip/or fall. Not having shoelaces is a plus as well, nothing to trip over. For me, it's about practicality and comfort. As far as the "Shape-Up" aspect of the shoe, that remains to be seen....but again, I bought them for comfort while bartending and am VERY happy with them. I would never wear these shoes anywhere BUT work, they are manly looking and bulky....I prefer strappy sandals and spiked heels, EXCEPT while bartending! :)"

"These shoes look great, but even after wearing for 2 days were so snug on my feet. I had to take off and on all day. I used thin socks, but still they made my feet hot and hurt my legs and back. I have 2 friends that had these and they have no problem. Must be that my feet are to boney and the shoe is to snug."

"Can wear for extended periods, comfortable, look good with slacks or with khaki's. Love the ease of no laces, great compromise for working at the airport. Looks dressy but takes a beating when working on the ramp."

Skechers Ladies Work Shape Ups

I have not worn this version of the Work Shape UP, I have the lace up style. But with the ones I have I am able to stand 8 to 12 hours shifts, 7 days a week, for 5 weeks, with minimal pain or tiredness. I have a very bad right knee, and a joint on my left foot, both cause extreme pain when I do not wear my skechers. I also own the every day skechers. These shoes are not only great on the feet and lower legs, but they have actually helped me lose about 40 pounds, just because I can walk with out pain.
