"I purchased these shoes in black a few weeks ago and I've been wearing them ever since. At first I was a little worried about them being wide but they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and I can feel them working out my legs when I walk. I already notice a difference in how my clothes are fitting, especially my jeans. They do put a bit of a strain on my back but I've always been a sloucher and I think that the slight ache is from me being forced to stand up straighter while I have the shoes on. I had a similar pair a few years ago that were from Avon Curves. They were good but they hurt my legs from the minute I put them on and they wore out fast. These are way better. I love the Skechers brand in any shoe, but these so far are my favorite. A must try!"

"I purchased these on sale, I have been wanting to try these for a long time. The only complaint I have is they are wide in the heel also, which I find is pretty common in the wide width shoes I have purchased in the past. This problem is pretty easily solved by purchasing some non slip heel inserts, it is worth the comfort in getting the extra width in the rest of the shoe. I have only worn them around the house so far but they were comfortable from the minute I put them on. As far as the toning ability I can't say but I plan to wear them as much as possible, much more comfortable then trying to wear a shoe that is too narrow. I am considering buying a second pair since they are priced well right now. I ordered mine in the size I usually wear (when they are not regular width) and they are plenty big enough."

"I have planter's fascitis(both heels)and was unable to walk without terrible pain. I bought these shoes after reading other reviews about how great they were and how much cushion they had. From the first time I put the shoes on could walk pain free. Im still being treated for the condition but the shoes are helping me to go thru the healing process more rapidly by taking all the stress off my feet. The support and cushion is so unique feels like im walking on air, and I have more stamina. They cost a little bit more than regular sneekers but they are well worth it! I recommend the shoes to anyone with foot problems where you need strong support and cushion. They also help to strenghten leg and calf muscles."

"I find that they do little for the thighs and butt and they give me leg and foot cramps after awhile. Im not as thrilled as I thought I would be, but with the foot conditions that I have they have proven to be the most comfortable shoe I have found so far."

"This is my second pair...they give you feeling of walking on clouds. Great for my lower back pain...I have none!! I have a pair of New Balance that I use for yard work and when I put them on after wearing the Shape-Ups, they feel "hard" and flat. Can't say enough about these sneakers!!"

Great relief to heels

"I bought these shoes for the fitness aspect - Not the reason I love them. I do not feel the suposed work-out in my calves or legs - but they have ELIMINATED my heel pain I experineced in other shoes. i had given up long walks and I am now back out there walking. NOTE - wear them for a couple of days in your house before going out in them as it is a very different kind of shoe. WORTH the huge cost for them because I am pain free in them. Will buy the sandle version next."
